As many of you with flashed iPhone 4s are now aware, texting doesn't really work with cricket as it should. Many users have reported that they cannot send or do not receive text messages from GSM carriers or other people. The truth is, this has been a problem before the CDMA iphone was even out. Devices like the palm pixie, Treo's and a few androids always experienced that problem. Usually a reset on the provider's end would fix the problem. However, The issue isn't that simple. The way iphone sends and receives text messages is also associated much with web data. Think of a Sprint handset using vision services to send and receive MMS. As we know, its not compatible with They way Cricket is sending and receiving SMS. So far, there is said to be a team of engineers trying to find out how they can fix this problem and adapt the Network to support the iphone. Personally, For a company that does not give a damn about flashed phones, and gives NO SUPPORT on flashed handsets, I dont think this is going anywhere. But who knows, I hope Cricket Proves us Wrong. It just doesn't make sense to re-adapt their Network to accept and fix a problem of a phone that isn't theirs, Unless Cricket plans on Offering an iPhone. But then Again, Unicorns don't exist
